What are Grip Studs® Model 1910 Tractor Tire Studs?

Model 1910 is a screw-in traction stud designed for tractor tires, steering axles, and select truck applications. Built with a tungsten carbide core and wide-auger threads, it provides consistent traction in icy and slick working conditions.

How do they stay secure in the tire?

The wide-auger thread drives into the rubber to increase surface contact and holding strength. This helps keep the stud in place under load without shifting or backing out.

What types of equipment can it be used on?

Model 1910 works with:
• Compact and utility tractors
• Steering axles on equipment
• Semi truck tires in controlled-use environments

It’s suited for use on icy roads, snow-covered ground, and uneven terrain.

How many studs should I install?

Per tire: 75–100 studs

Using the recommended quantity is essential to maximize traction and stud retention. Failure to do so, can result in stud tear out which will damage the tire.

Why choose the Model 1910?

Model 1910 offers a practical alternative to tire chains with more consistent traction and less downtime. Its moderate profile balances grip and surface contact, while wide-auger threads help maintain retention, supporting control on icy roads, packed snow, and job sites.

Installation notes

Installs using a variable-speed drill—no pre-drilling required.
• 100 and 150 packs include an installation tool
• 1000-count bulk boxes do not include an installation tool; tool can be purchased separately
