Originally engineered to keep dirt bikes upright on frozen trails, we’ve adapted this powerhouse for wading boots where "extra" isn't just a preference—it’s imperative. Whether you are navigating fast-moving white water, climbing over algae covered logs, or trekking over slippery rocks to reach your favorite hole, these studs ensure you stay planted.  Installation into Skwala boots can be a bit tricky as that particular boot has raised/domed stud receptacles.  During installation, keep a firm steady pressure on the stud to minimize walking of the auger.  Installing Grip Studs into that particular boot sole is not for everyone but can be done successfully with a steady hand, patience and determination.

The 1740P is designed for specialized footwear that requires more "reach" than a standard stud.  This kit includes 32 studs for an even bigger bite while traversing those stream beds.

• Engineered for Depth: These are the ideal choice for boots featuring stud receptacles inset more than 4.5mm.

• Maximum Bite: With 5.8mm of prominence, these studs sit 1.4mm longer than our already aggressive 3000A models, providing a deeper bite into slippery surfaces.  Also note, we added a pointed carbide rod vs the flat tip found on the 3000A which helps the stud penetrate the slime more efficiently.

• Versatile Application: While perfect for deep-lugged wading boots, they are the go-to option for any heavy-duty footwear where maximum surface penetration is required for safety such as hunting or hiking boots with aggressive soles.
