What is Grip Studs® Model 1000 (Tire Snow Studs)?

Model 1000 is a premium screw-in traction stud built with a solid tungsten carbide core with wide auger threads for maximum durability, traction, and long-lasting performance in winter or off-road conditions.

How does it stay secure in the tire?

The wide-auger thread bites deep into the rubber to increase surface contact and ensure strong retention. This design keeps the studs firmly in place without the need for glue or adhesives.

What types of tires can it be used on?

Any bicycle tire with at least 5 mm of tread depth — including fat bikes, e-bikes, and mountain bikes.

How many studs should I install

Fat bike tires: 100–150 studs per tire
Other bicycle tires: stud count may vary depending on tread pattern and riding conditions
